Photographer and Makeup Artist, ROBERT RAPHAEL began his career working as a makeup artist in TV and the Photography Industry. Working as a makeup artist for various photographers for headshots and fashion, his amorous love for photography lead him to pick up the camera. Self taught in film first, and now digital photography. The transition from film to digital brought demands for photoshop skills from the photography industry that he now offers as part of his work. His Styling and lighting experience allow him to develop a unique style of photography that stands out from your standard headshots. He was one of the very first photographers to push for color headshots, at a time when every agent was still asking for black & white photos. His work soon caught the eyes of actors and models who were clients at his salon, and a new business began! Robert and his partner, Fernando De Jesus are the owners of The West End Salon/Studio. Robert's work is now published in magazines, books, T.V shows , web sites and cd covers.
